Arbitrary function generators customise waveforms

Arbitrary function generators generate standard or user-defined waveforms with crystal controlled sampling rates up to 125MHz, 14-bit vertical resolution and up to 4 million horizontal points.

A new series of arbitrary function generators is now available in the UK from Metrix Electronics. They can generate standard or user-defined waveforms with crystal controlled sampling rates up to 125MHz, 14-bit vertical resolution and up to 4 million horizontal points. Uses include signal simulation and test in many industrial, laboratory and service applications.

Customised waveforms can be created from scratch, or by editing standard waveforms.

A PC arbitrary waveform editor programme allows the user to create, edit and download complex waveforms.

Multiple waveforms can be stored in flash memory.

Three models offer standard 31, 40 or 50MHz; sine, square, ramp or pulse waveforms outputs.

A choice of amplitude, frequency and FSK modulations are included, as well as extensive trigger modes.

A fourth model has dual-channel 50MHz outputs that can operate independently or in sum mode to create more complex waveforms.

All models include IEEE488.2 SCPI compatible and RS-232C remote control interfaces.

Adaptor kits are available to rack mount the bench instrument cases.
