Same size solid state relays have more power

The higher amperage models of solid state relays are ideal for high inrush loads, motors, lamps as well as traditional applications, yet are cooler and safer, says the manufacturer.
The Power-io H family of solid state relays has been expanded with two new high current models offering 90 and 125 amp AC switching outputs. With a 24-660 voltage range, these new models are universal replacements for the majority of solid state relay 'hockey puck SSR' cubes. The higher amperage models are ideal for high inrush loads, motors, lamps as well as traditional applications.

When used at lower amperage switching, such as 20-75 amps, these new models offer cooler performance while ensuring a higher margin of safety against amperage surge problems.

Both models have the Maximum Surge SurvivalT design for outstanding performance and long life in industrial, laboratory, HVAC, or similar installations.
